During the time of COVID-19, it can be difficult to stay active, especially when it comes to our “normal” workout routines. There are many ways to be active during #quarantinelife. After having my fair share of boredom snacks, at-home workouts are the best way to work on my health and fitness. They help me stay in shape, release bottled-up energy and, frankly, give me something to do. If you’re a fellow gym lover, you can bring your workout routines to the comfort of your home with just a few adjustments (e.g. wine bottles are the new dumbbells!). And you don’t need gym machines to stay fit. Try bodyweight exercises like stretches, jumping jacks, sit-ups, squats, push-ups, and lunges—and you’ll be good to go. Yoga poses are also an excellent way to relax and gently move your body. You can even get the whole fam involved, as you’re never too old or too young to start building fitness habits for life.

If you want more of a full body workout, Fit4Less is offering plenty of (free!) online workout videos on their Facebook page, which are super helpful if you don’t know what exercises to do.
