Canadians have so much to celebrate this year! Not only did we become first-time NBA champions (go Raptors!), but Canada is celebrating its 152nd birthday, too. With the long weekend on the horizon, I know most of us like to hit the road, check out local happenings — including Capilano Mall’s food truck event series NOSH Foodie Fest — or simply have fun with family and friends, so it’s important to be prepared.
Everywhere you turn you can find lots of Canada Day décor and accessories at Capilano Mall. Check out Dollar Tree for holiday must haves including hats, flags, and other fun accessories to use that boast Canadian pride! You can also visit Capilano's Fashion & Footwear stores if you want to don a Canadian tuxedo (denim for days!) and Canada Day swag. At Walmart, you can find Summer BBQ essentials like lawn chairs, umbrellas, and party cups (with the Canadian flag printed on them to stay on theme, of course). Remember: no patio is too small!
