With its melting pot of cultures, what I love most about the North Shore is that there are so many types of delish meals to try! Did you know that Pine Square Sushi, in addition to Japanese food like sushi (duh!), also offers Korean food options? I'm in luck because I love both, so I can order hot noodle soup, sushi, and teriyaki to name just a few tasty options! After exploring their menu top to bottom, below are my absolute fave Korean dishes.
Bibimbap
Fun fact: “bibim” means mixing various ingredients and “bap” refers to rice. This dish is made up of a bed of rice with beef and veggies topped with a sunny-side-up egg. And if you want to add a little bit of heat, spicy gochujang sauce is available on the side. "Nom nom" is the only thing that comes to mind!
Dub Bab
The dub bab is a rice bowl with beef or sashimi topped with their classic teriyaki sauce or spicy gochujang sauce. Yum, yum, and yum!
I hope your mouth is watering as much as mine. Try them and enjoy!
